Bikram is a Partner at Unicorn India Ventures, and a seasoned venture capital and investment banking professional. His investment landscape extends across Europe, North America, and Asia, with a deep-rooted emphasis on India, ranging from a fintech venture in the UK to one of the largest global QSR chains in India.
Previously a Partner at Aavishkaar Group (AUM ~ US$ 1.4B), Bikram has held senior leadership positions in various domestic and offshore funds including Neev Fund at SBI Capital Markets Ventures, Alpha Capital, Bay Capital and India Discovery Fund. At ICICI, he was an investment banker with a focus on cross-border M&A transactions in technology and life sciences sectors.
Bikram holds a PGDM from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and a bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering from the National Institute of Technology Allahabad. He is a CFA® charterholder, a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM®), and is affiliated with the Global Association of Risk Professionals and the Indian Association of Investment Professionals.
Beyond core investments, Bikram has also served as an advisor to various organizations including the Department of Higher Education (GoI) for establishing university incubation infrastructure, IIM Calcutta Innovation Park, investment committee member of Centre for Innovation, Incubation & Enterprise at Pune University and has also worked with several multilaterals, foundations, and NGOs.
In his free time, Bikram loves to teach advanced corporate finance courses as a Visiting Professor at various B-Schools like IIM Calcutta, IIM Bangalore, IIM Ranchi, IIM Rohtak and IIM Bodh Gaya.
