Sparsh is part of the investment team at UIV and works primarily out of our office in Mumbai. In addition to his investment and portfolio management responsibilities, Sparsh also works across various operational aspects of the fund.

Sparsh comes in with previous stints in quantitative macro investing and entrepreneurship. He started his career with Nomura, where he worked with the Quantitative Investment Strategy team, developing and maintaining rule-based investment strategies across different asset classes. Prior to that Sparsh has worked on his own startups in last-mile mobility and distributed computing space.

Sparsh graduated from IIT-Kharagpur with a major in Aerospace Engineering and a specialization in Entrepreneurship & Innovation. He spends his free time planning mountaineering expeditions and can be found jousting in amateur debating and quizzing circles in Mumbai over the weekends. Believing that if one is not building the future, the next best thing they can do is to fund it, he is always eager to working with budding entrepreneurs and early stage startups.
